  1. In Mexico my tours & resort provided unlimited bottled water, pop & beer. I also at several restaurants nothing made me ill, I initially was afraid of the tap water too.

  2. 28:20 Exactly! Money translation is not as simple as it sounds. The purchase prices of things could be similar to usa. The 1st time I traveled Intl to Europe & Africa I ran out of cash. With prior notice my bank froze my cards & I had to get my family to western union me . 🤦🏾‍♀️😂

  3. Hi Stephanie pls don’t ever apologize for been off-topic. You actually are NEVER. Believe it or not, those off-topic things u share are the most important that we all want to know. I love the way u cover everything by doing that. Pls continue be the BLESSING that u r. Thank you 🙏🏾 so much:). & YES Discernment is a GIFT from GOD. Ask the Holy Spirit to give you one. We ALL need it in these days.

  4. Thanks for the humor re the toilets because I was thinking 2 people might have to help me squat. God forbid that I would wet someone's feet while falling. I appreciate these topics. I'd rather know b4 hand than be surprised 😮

  5. The US pay toilet is how I got my name back in the day So I tell people when they ask me where did I get my name I tell them from the bathroom and they think I'm joking. Mom didn't have the coin the lady that gave her the coins said name your child if it's a Girl my name and I will pay it for you. My mom LOVED it and named me my name and I Love my name. I was the ONLY one with my name until just recently there is a Male in Europe and a Brazilian young lady singer with my name now showing up. I contacted the young lady and she was shocked to see someone with the same name.

  6. 1.) You have to denounce your U.S. citizenshiip if you don't want to be held responsible for paying taxes here.
2.) This is degree specific, but you can travel and find work abroad as a nurse. This is actually what I'm wanting to do with my nursing degree! (:
3.) I actually use my bottled water for cooking unless I'm first boiling it. Better safe than sorry!

  7. I missed the live, but a "stupid" question that I've always wanted to know is why there's such a large interest in relocating to Mexico when Mexicans are risking their lives to cross the Rio Grande to make it to the States?

  8. I've moved all around the world and I agree with you, if you never had a residency visa, then you've never actually moved abroad. Traveling from country to country is VASTLY different than actually residing/moving to a country. As a Black woman, I could write a book about all the administrative ups and downs about moving, living, and thriving abroad.

  9. Planning to travel from the US via a travel home built in mini bus to Mexico, and through the eastern countries in the isthmus (Honduras, Belize, Costa Rica, Panama), stay 7 days to review the lifestyle

  10. Black women remember to take care of your health. In 2016, (BW) singer Sharon Jones, 60 died of pancreatic cancer. Sharon's singers were the Dap Kings. She traveled performing, made $$$$$$$$$$$ BUT, neglected her own health! Health is your wealth and without it you have nothing.

  11. I'm obsessed with Cape Town right now, but I don't hear it discussed much in the black woman travel circuits. Am I missing something bad? Is it raycis?
Also, I'm not a stoner but I do occasionally dabble in cannabis use. I was surprised to see how few countries have it legalized. I prefer legalized to decriminalized since I'd be an expat and might not have the same privilege as a local (Uruguay is a great example of this)

  12. Love this channel – Target has lower cost versions of Thinx up to size 4x… my daughter swears by the super absorbency and I use the moderate for backup… they last for years, wash very well, and FSA accounts now cover the cost – Thanks

  13. 24:59 I hate to say "google it" but she may have to. What defines "good health care" varies by person. Every place has hospitals. Does she mean affordable, high tech, variety of operations, etc? Kuala Lumpur is recommended for retirement but everyone goes to the DR to get BBLs. What would she like to see?

  14. A BLAST FROM MY PAST — Montreal, & Quebec, Canada, I was the first one in my family to get a USA Passport. In the early 1970s, 20 years old, I went to Montreal, solo to stay. I lived at the old YWCA Montreal residential building on Ste. Catherine Street. I had an amazing time. I did NOT go to any church. I got to see the Laurentian mountains, Habitat 67 housing complex, ate at the Montreal Hebrew Delicatessen, took a horse drawn buggy ride in downtown Montreal, visited museums, folks were friendly, the air was clear & I was safe! Two of my high school friends flew in to see me, & we went to see Roberta Flack in concert. I took my first sauna experience at the YWCA. Lots of memories for me. The Canadians were very good people, and I learned to speak the language of French!!!!!!!!! I cleared the USA/Canadian border with NO problems…………………………………………………………………… from the houseboat, age 70, very content in my life

  15. Thanks for sharing Stephanie, I read all of the comments, and I did not have any questions at all. I have lived abroad before, started when I was in my 20s, in Montreal, Quebec Canada, 1970s. In 1999, I lived on an off grid farm in Central America for 6 months. I took my portable massage table, packed light clothing & sandals. I slept in hammocks hung at night, ate farm fresh foods, took showers outside (privately), drank well water, made friends, gave massages to my friends, I made new friends, went swimming in the pacifico, dancing at night in nearby town, spoke the language, ate with others, & I was kind to strangers. I explored in a pick up truck nearby tiny towns, namely, San Lorenzo, Choluteca, Nacaome, Ampapala, went to the farmers markets to shop, and I returned home, healthy & sun-kissed, safely to the USA. I had NO problems being in Central America as a black woman, NO KIDS. I was NOT with any of my biological family!!!! I did not go to church in Central America as I DO NOT go to any church or participate in religions at all. I had NO problems at the airports, and NO thefts of my goods, either……………………………………………………. ALWAYS embracing ease on the houseboat on the lake of the Ozarks, this morning

  16. Hey Stephanie good morning I live in Hawaii girl I get up at five to listen to you I never miss you hey when you make that T-shirt embrace ease I’m buying it love you to pieces
