Having done volunteer work in Ukraine in 2015 2016 and 2017, I can tell you Ukrainian citizens have to pay several hundred dollars at the US Embassy just to file an application for a Visa. One incident that I'm familiar with a healthy girl get a visa to come to the u.s. to get medical treatment. The girl had a master's degree in electrical engineering. She got the Visa came for treatment went back to the Ukraine within 3 weeks had to come back again in about 6 months had a Visa was stopped is Chicago O'Hare where they seize her visa sees her phone and locked her up in a room with six other females on student visas in a room with one toilet few blankets after 24 hours they were put on flights back to their countries. Ukrainian citizens can get visas to over 120 countries but not the US the immigration officials at O'Hare we're like gestapo because she told them someone was meeting her here they came out found that person interrogated them and threatened them so much for Good Ol USA when we got two million crossing the border with no covid checks this lady had a master's degree in engineering I was here only for medical why the US has been so terrible to these people denying them tourist visas
