Imo is a flautist/flutist (flute player), and these vlogs will often take you behind the scenes of the life of a professional folk musician. Stand by for bits and bobs of live folk music and dance as they pop up in our day-to-day lives.

These videos will not generally feature recorded background music, making them extra suitable for people who aren’t keen on pop music!

Follow this channel for daily-life vlogs (6 days a week, usually), content relating to the flute, travel (particularly to Lisbon, Portugal), folk musician lifestyle, and to see what life is like for this little family in our corner of South Wales in the UK.

  1. OH noooooo… so sorry to hear this!. You've been so aware and careful on the protocol throughout this pandemic. I hear from friends that the fatigue is awful. LOL @ Izzy's reaction and giving you the wide berth on her way back into her room… that made me laugh.. haha Good thing you rec'd an Asda order to keep you going for awhile, and the additional order will fill the shelves. 💕

  2. Sorry to see you sick. We are back in our home state of Indiana for my Grandmother's birthday. I am behind in my youtube viewing. Thank you again for your message.

  3. Hi lmo. Hope your feeling better soon. I had Covid going back about 3 weeks ago. And it put me off food. Complete, didn't feel like eating at all. Enjoyed watching your Tesco shopping hauls. Ready meals are good. When your not feeling well. Easy to do ! And less dishes to wash. I like the Spaghetti one. Tastes lovely ! Love to you all Maria 💗 xx

  4. I had covid for the first time about 6 weeks ago. Luckily it was just like a cold and cough for a few days then I felt tired for another 4 or 5 days. Definitely a two part thing. I slept a lot

  5. I randomly woke up on Tuesday really poorly and couldn’t get out of bed so I tested Wednesday my test line came up before the rest of test had even loaded 😂 avoided it for 2 years and it got me. Worse thing was my birthday was Thursday so that was a nice early present for me! Hope you feel better soon x

  6. Sorry to hear you got COVID yet again. Indeed a faint line is positive. Expect that line to get more 'bold' over the next few days. You have nothing to feel guilty for, you went further than most people would do.

  7. I am so sorry to hear you got sick. My next door neighbor got Covid last week and it took her down for 7 days. Her elderly father has never been vaccinated so she was pretty worried. I masked up and gloved up on in common door nobs. I thought this Covid thing was going away!!

  8. Coincidentally today was first day tried online shop/timed pick up, was just going and checked phone and found order was cancelled, out of stock. Had to do for another store on way to get pigeon feed tomorrow. AND friend and her husband are down with covid despite being vax/boosted/masking. Was just wondering how on earth could you clean/disinfect a flute used while sick?? Silver kills bugs and my head is silver but the pads…guess is good haven't had respiratory strength to even try to play for 5yrs but… also for me in US is cheaper to buy beans and pulses dry, also stock up on rice, broth as can do oodles of soups in instant pot.. almost as good as someone cooking for me when don't feel good. Take care

  9. Get well soon x my grandma buys normal cheese already grated because she can't be bothered to grate it so I'll let you off sliced posh cheese 😂 from Victoria xx

  10. Hope you feel better soon. I had covid in February when you still had to do the 100000days self isolation. Like you I felt awful. I’d been at work previously and tested daily and it was negative – I even saw my Dad that day and by the evening I had a faint positive and dark positive the following day. It’ll be OK. I think once you show positive you are more infectious that first 24 after the positive result and during the worse of the symptoms. Of course now people at work are allowed to come in with covid 🙄. I hope you feel better really soon. Vitamin C and Zinc helped me get better.
