The advice of a stylish local is always invaluable when visiting a new place for the first time. In this special video edition of House & Garden’s regular series ‘Ask a Local’, the artist and designer Allegra Hicks takes us on a tour of Naples, the city she calls home. Having started off as a painter of frescoes, Allegra applies her artistic skills to the making of beautiful interior pieces, from rugs and tapestries to works in metal and cast bronze, and has recently launched a collaboration with The Invisible Collection. With her passion for design, she takes us to meet some of Naples most skilled craftspeople, stopping along the way at beautiful churches, museums and gardens, and of course, an unmissable restaurant.
