We are in the middle of renovating our house in an abandoned Portuguese village. After days of rain today finally it seems like we are in luck. So let’s continue with that gable. I am starting with the diagonal wall that needs to connect to the gable wall. But again we start with cleaning up the wall.

Don't know how u can do that find so simple and easy.
get the roof on get the windows and in and then you control the weather. Easier said than done I know but it was the first rule we had when starting a build way back when timber was cheapishhh.
It's too bad you did not get the roof on during the long dry Portugal summer.

No dont put a window there like that. Ether fill it in or use no see thru glass. Every car and person that walks by can see right into room. Loved the clouds part. I did not notice it until you mentioned it. Your having the same weather I am. Days and Weeks of wet cold stuff. And I'm in S.TX. Have you ever thought about a planning board to help you stay focused on different stuff? Maybe add in seasonal things that need to be done. Trimming Trees, Harvesting trees, Planting trees (you need to do that), mowing and edging. If you have it on the same project board will help you dedicate your time to all.
I know you have been a bit lonely but you were able to stay focused and accomplished quit a bit. The girls love you for it. I saw how you kick girls out of bed in the morning. LMAO

I think you should think about just putting a sandwhich board roof on, it will go fast, have no leaks and be insulated in one go too..keep your tiles to use on your other stone houses.
