Anytime house projects are starting to get to you, be it supply issues, the work not being up to your standards, or whatever, just think you sold it to me and i have finished it, moved in and am taking in that view – never loose sight of the end result in the moment – what a fabulous location. . . :>/

Do you have a video on what the monthly expense is to live there? Utility costs, what's the best cell phone service, high speed internet provider? Also, moving from say America to the azores, do you have to give up your cars, electronics stateside. . .or are they safely compatible with the power outlets there, and vehicles compatible with the gas, oil changes, parts replacement there? Thanks.

Hi guys loving the update on the house. Progress is always very slow there. Getting any type of construction done on the islands is pathetic. Took years to build my mother inlaws house on Soa Miguel. Probably best to just laminate drywall over all the interior walls instead of trying to parge smooth.

I just purchased a home in Finais de ajuda S.Miguel, home built in 1937, currently undertaking a full reno. Will reno the old FORNO and use it as the heat source for winter season……

Don't want scare you guy's but as you have already discovered they don't want to work you have been there about a year and that is all they have done I'm glad that i do my own work when i'm there i don't want to be a 100 years old when the decide to get the place done.On briter note i will be their soon to enjoy the weather have they changed the requirements to come to islands.
