  1. I find the use of the term "victim-blamed" really interesting here as it implies that Jacqueline's interaction with the man who bought her a drink was not fun flirting on her part. If the man was being aggressive she might not have felt safe outright rejecting him. Or perhaps she accepted the drink without thinking about it and then the man who bought it became belligerent or creepy when she told them she was engaged. Of course we can't know what happened at this point – and I suppose it's possible that Jacqueline and her friends were misusing the term. But it does make me wonder.

  2. Honestly the only reason the wedding guests still came is bc they already booked the flights and hotel rooms and took time off work lol. Not sure why she’s making it seem like there’s any other reason

  3. two sides to every story but listening to the dear shandy love fest and Jacqueline's podcast it becomes very clear that she's a walking red flag and not made for long term commitment. (e.g she craves strange men's attention & doesn't like commitment.. she says so herself.. that doesn't sound like she's ready for marriage)

  4. Aww Dave I love the puns but giving them all away on this video doesn't inspire someone to click on the other video! Ya should've played the 1st 3 or 4 and let people click over. I didn't even known this had happened or that you posted about it (thanks algorithm) but would have clicked through had you not just showed us the whole video, practically. Yes, I'm subscribed for years now.. what is up with the new algorithm that I miss videos??

  5. On Sharleen's channel, Jaqueline starts the interview with a story of " some guy, giving her a piggyback ride, in the Virgin Islands " … Sounds like, in the end, they didn't agree on the ground rules for the relationship.

  6. I think Jacqueline made the right choice to end the relationship. I was involved with someone who was controlling and I am kind of traumatized from it. It is triggering to see or hear about it. Lesson learned. Only needed to experience it once in my lifetime to know it's not for me. It's toxic, unhealthy. There was a lot of gaslighting. Turbulent emotions. No thank you! Controlling stems from insecurity.

  7. If it's not right, it's definitely better to cut and run right before the wedding no matter how many people have booked flights and accommodation. From someone who had a traumatic marriage where he started to show his true colours right before the wedding, but I went through with it and tried to make it work. It got so much worse though.

  8. Dave, you missed the first part of his response! There was another screenshot with a lot more tea, though it should come with a trigger warning – some pretty intense info was shared.

  9. Given that my husband does most of the cooking due to our work schedules, he uses the kitchen things on the registry a lot more than I do. My good contribution was that I searched all the reviews and curated good registry items.

  10. Interesting crossover between academia and Bachelor. Sounds like Paul got pretty close with some of J’s BN pals. Hopefully the publicity won’t negatively impact his career. (Check out his reviews on Rate My Professor; they’re pretty superlative.)

  11. There’s far too much to this that we have no clue about. She was engaged to be married and yet accepted a drink from a strange man? 🥴To be fair, I don’t think there’s many engaged men who would’ve been happy about that either. 🥴However and very obviously there’s far more to the story than this. I question (going on what Jacquline has said about herself and her behaviour previously ) whether she’s ready for commitment . 🥴
