After 5 months in Caldas da Rainha we have arrived in Alentejo again and it feels like home! Wide open landscapes with the characteristic cork oaks and little country roads. Portugal is wonderful and it’s this area specifically that has stolen our hearts 🙂

We have lived in Caldas da Rainha for 5 months and have been housesitting at a guesthouse there. Now we are back on our original track and are exploring the area to find a place to shoot roots.

For now though we have moved into the house of an acquaintance who’s on a holiday so we are good for 5 weeks and can enjoy this sweet location and house.

Right now I have planned to start my Permaculture Design Course at our friends Permaculture project called “Azula” so I’m looking forward to that very much 🙂
