BARRIERS IN THE WETLAND – | Portuguese Permaculture Projects

We are in the middle of renovating our house in an abandoned Portuguese village. Today we try to get further with our Grey Water Wetland by continuing on the barriers. We are almost done. Also work on the main house continues, Renato is cleaning up the schist in the house.

Stay tuned for more building content and why not hit the notification bell so you don’t miss it 😉 thanks for watching!

My name is Jasper and i bought a house in a Portuguese ghost town. Together with my dogs Zoey & Akira we show you the rebuild of our house and what it is like living the daily life in Central Portugal.

  1. I notice you are demolishing a big dividing wall in the house. Is it now going to be one big room? Will you have two doors entering into this one big space? I've lost track on what's happening with the house. I remember Duarte shouldn't have demolished a wall but now more and more is coming down. What's the plan for the big build?

  2. I'm looking at the wetland build and noticed how you are building cells in it which should help with the structural integrity which reminds me of your house with all its rooms. Those Portuguese did know a thing or two and I think the little bridge with the rebar will be good to help support the walls on either side… as I think you were saying.

  3. Nice to hear Hazel is back. Looks like you may finish that water system soon. Way to go Jasper. Nice to have everyone giving a hand on the different projects around the homestead. You have great community friends. See you next video.
