Boxing day 2020, we decided to head to Praia Naturista 19, a gay nudist beach which attracts many visitors each year. The beaches of Costa Caparica are served by a miniature train known as the “Transpraia” which runs from the town at the northern end, all the way to Fonte da Telha about 10 km to the south. There are a total of 21 stops along the way of which Praia 19 is the 19th.
Beach combing is a relaxing, meditative way to calm down after a busy Christmas day. The simple activity of marvelling at the beauty of natural objects and creatures on the beach, soothes the mind and the body too. We as humans, are made to admire and appreciate beauty in all its forms.
Today, with our fast paced life styles, we forget to take the time to really look at something.
What colour is it? What lines form the shape of the object or creature? Is it smooth or rough to touch? What patterns are there on its surface? Are there any patterns at all? 🌿🌿🌿
How often do you take the time to look at nature? 🙂
Make today even more beautiful by appreciating the simplicity of the world around you and don’t forget to take care of yourself too. We all need a bit of self care during this time of Covid.
