Playa de Torviscas is located on the Costa Adeje in the southwest of Tenerife and is one of the most touristic beaches of the whole island. It lies together with Playa de Fañabé in the same bay and merges seamlessly and almost unnoticed into it. At the other end it is bordered by cliffs, over which a promenade continues to Playa la Pinta and Puerto Colon.
Like its neighbouring beaches, Torviscas Beach is characterised by a spacious promenade with numerous restaurants, bars, cafés and small shops. Even a playground has been created for the smaller beach visitors and enjoys great popularity with families from all over Europe. You can also shop and stock up on souvenirs in the shopping centre right on the promenade. Pharmacies and small supermarkets are also on site. Directly on the beach, on the other hand, there is a beach bar offering a wide range of food and drinks, sunbeds and umbrellas. At the southern end of the beach you will even find a McDonalds, who has settled directly on the beach and attracts with offers for the small purse.
The fine grey-beige sand makes it possible to lie comfortably. The bay is also protected by breakwaters and provides pleasant bathing conditions. Getting into the water is fun, because there are no sharp stones. So even the little ones can splash in the calm water without hesitation, while the grown-ups make themselves comfortable on a sunbed or even in a luxury sunbed. Some bathers even explore the underwater world with their own snorkel.
