Very surprised the hotel does not have cameras on the corridors of every floor like other hotels it's not like someone carrying a strong box is not noticeable maybe the hotel knows who's doing it

The Spanish people are one of the reasons to visit this incredible, beautiful country.

Your suitcase could go missing the second you are dropped of at the SP. Has happened many times leaving holiday makers without a stitch of clothing. Would never use the hole again.

Hey Ana, great vlog. Very informative about the thieving that is not only happening in Benidorm but across various resorts. Sad to hear that the Sol Pelicanos Hotel were more concerned about their reputation after than their poor guests that were robbed. Hope they fix this attitude.

why have all these videos turned to negativity and scare mongering? We all know Life is a b*tch we just want tot go on holiday don't care about car crashes, fires, droughts, taxes going up, scammers, not bringing back souvenirs in luggage. These have and always will be present in life. Nothing has changed at the Sol Pelicanos then, we stayed there 15 years ago and a couple had things stolen from their room while they were at breakfast just before they were going home and the hotel management did nothing about it.

Loved Sol pelicanos, stayed twice although anybody can walk in off the street as reception cant keep track of who is a guest or visitor even late at night when reception is quieter…you can just stagger in ( Sol need a better door security/ ID bracelet) on entry. I witnessed an elderly couple walking back from a bar and 2 shits befriended them pretending to be drunk jumping about, 1 hooked his foot into the old man and jumped about while turning him, the other guy was holding the wife also turning and laughing…all very fast making sure the old boy fell back the wife was pulled down with him..and the shits took off..quick as a flash, police were called….Sol pel did not want the publicity even tho the couple were guests and very distressed.

Well done Ana, it takes a brave person to disclose situations like what happened at Hotel Sol Pelicanos. Hopefully people will not be put off coming to Benidorm because it's a very nice place and as you said also has some great hotels.
