  1. My English is little but I’m trying you understand me. My husband speaks English very well(army veteran), but he doesn’t like to write in YouTube.
Well, we are looking to move to Spain, we like Andalucía. I’m searching a safe area, low crime. Can you recommend any city?

Quizás si escribo en español sea mejor ya que YouTube tiene forma de traducir los textos.
Big hug from Puerto Rico 🇵🇷

  2. The Roman ruins of Italica, just North West of Seville, is well worth a visit if you're in the area. Hadrian was born there apparently and it hasn't been over preserved like a lot of Spains historic buildings.

  3. Love Cómpeta, Malaga province as we’re in a beautiful traditional white village with half Spanish, half expats loads of creative people, amazing restaurants and bars, loads of live music and art exhibitions as well as the traditional Spanish fiestas, fun and flamenco! So close to the coast (20 minutes) and stunning walks in the mountains on the doorstep! I love it here….can you tell?!!

  4. After 5 years of having a holiday home on the Costa Blanca, we decided to look elsewhere for the house that would eventually (hopefully) become our "forever home" in Spain, so we recently bought a new place in Castillo de Locubin in Jaen Province. The CB's great for holidays but we want "proper" Spain. Yes, it's great being able to get HP sauce in the shops & I'm not knocking anybody for wanting that life but to be honest, the attitude & outlook of far too many of our English neighbours (especially since Brexit) have become embarrassing & intolerable. If you've lived in a country for 15 yrs but proudly boast that you have no intention of learning the language…well, you're a fool in my book. Each to their own, I suppose but we'll be the ones over there, half way up that mountain, enjoying life in a proper Spanish community while you pay a tenner for your egg & chips in the Ciudad Quesada ghetto…

  5. We love where we live just outside of Loja. Loja is a town of 20,000 people and has excellent rail and road connections to other cities in Spain. We also have great bars, shops and restaurants. We are just 35 minutes away from Granada and 55 minutes away from Malaga. It is just one of many towns in Andalusia that would make a lovely home for people.
