President Biden signed the “Jerusalem Declaration” Thursday, which reaffirms the U.S. commitment to prevent Iran from developing nuclear weapons. CBS News senior White House and political correspondent, Ed O’Keefe, joined “Red and Blue” to discuss the joint pledge between the U.S. and Israel.

  4. As a democratic socialist – in favor of BAN THE BOMB nuclear disarmament – I do think that Islamic Iran has as much abstract nation-state right to nuclear weapons as Zionist APARTHEID Israel and USA 's Pentagon War Crimes Machine.
    Very rich ZIONIST Jews in Israel , in the United States , and around the world could easily finance Israel 's " self-defense ". Israel does not need to be a drain on America's modestly affluent- still mostly CHRISTIAN – middle class – now in INFLATION FREE FALL .

  22. Israel must and should exist as a country but not by being the very thing like Germany was in WW2, perpetuating an essentially ethnic attrition. I dream for a Confederation of Middle East Countries (United Middle East) comprising of 2 countries (Isreal & Palestine) and 1 Federal Territory (Jerusalem). With UME, it will slowly diminish external threats in favour for peace and harmony. I know it is laughable but bare with me. What we have currently is the raison d'etre for sustainable war economics. Iran is a country whose roots was sullied by the powers at large but can be retrieved from the clutches of certain group of individuals. The potential is to bring order to Iran, is to separate the spiritual leadership more towards Iman Wilaya and the secular government through a Swiss style government structure and whereby preferential voting system is used for both leadership. Just food for thought.

    …makes sure not to tell us Henry Kissinger wanted to give the Shah nuclear weapons after the US had murdered the democratically elected leader of Iran and replaced him with the mass-murdering Shah.
