  1. All looks very appealing Eddy, like yourself when I'm on a city break I like to get away and visit the smaller towns where the prices aren't so steep and the bars and restaurants aren't all packed out with tourists. This all looked very pleasant.

  2. Hi Eddy. Struggling to keep up with your regular vlogs but half way thru this one now and you are selling Brasov to me very well. looks just like my European type of place. One thing I like about you and your channel is that it is NOT ALL about Thailand and S.E Asia. Those are amazing of course but you appreciate diverse places like we do. Keep up the enjoyable travels around Romania mate. ;-]

  3. copyright is the right to copy hha musicians need to grow up and consider themselves lucky anyone pays them anything for doing something many people do at home after plumbing 😁

  4. Hi Ed, that place is stunning, what i also like was the fantastic back drops, at the far end of every street was a mountain. All the food you have shown use, has looked excellent and great value, the food here was £13/$16 i worked it out as i don't drink. I looked up what you mentioned about world heritage site? I looked it up, Brasov isn't but they have many fortified churches that are in Transylvania maybe worth a look if you have the time. Cheers

  5. Thanks for showing us around this stunning European city Ed. I could feel your excitement discovering a new destination. I want to experience that again. One of the joys of life, travel.

  6. It's so good and generous, for vloggers such as Ed, to spend their hard earned cash to entertain us 'arm chair travellers'. Get to see the world for free. Couldn't be better. Thanks.

  7. It’s a wonderful feeling when you visit somewhere you didn’t think would be that nice and it turns out to be great…….I remember having the same experience in Rotterdam, Holland and Larnaca in Cyprus …….both fantastic!

  8. Eddie Brasov looks awesome, i will be researching that place, i want to go there, i have never really looked at Romania until your vlogs but hey what an amazing place, cheers, nice vlog, keep them coming, very enjoyable.

  9. Brasov, Romania is an authentic medieval city and the gateway to Transylvania! So beautiful and historic in Piata Sfatului, Council Square. I read you can ride the cable car up to Tampa Mountain. I rode cable cars while in San Francisco, they are fun to ride and everyone likes talking with each other. It was fun seeing the KFC sign, and the sign does blend in well. So many lovely shops and places to dine and stop in for a drink or a beer. Yes, all those buildings have such amazing facades and the architecture screams of its incredible history, The side streets hold many interesting small shops, and the folks there looked very friendly. The food and open dining atmosphere is so tempting- especially those pork ribs! I read Brasov has a population of 253,000. Did you confirm when it became a city? Wiki thingy says 1235 AD, and archaeologists found humans were there in 95000 BCE (Before the common era). You mentioned how the people dressed in jackets while you were comfortable in a light shirt, I find that happens here as well, when folks from the warmer southern states come here in the fall, they find 60 degrees cold and wear a heavy sweater or jacket and it comfortable and wear a light shirt. Excellent video, Eddy. Really enjoyed this one. The video quality is exceptional, as well. Have you learned any of the Romanian languages?

  10. Great episode, Eddy. To be honest, the lack of English tourists is a blessing. I've just spent two wonderful months in an unnamed European super clean country by the sea. Absolutely no Englishmen. Locals told me during July and August thousands of English low-lives descend on some small towns holding dance/club music festivals. Value of real estate crashed down in these places on account of the outrageous behavior desplayed by these "tourists". Anyway, I'm not talking about nice gentlemen like yourself but you know the kind.. Keep up the great work!

  11. My missus and I stayed in a lovely Air BNB just 5 mins walk to Brasov old town.
It was one of my favourite all time stays such an unexpected beautiful place.
Mind you it would be cool for you to show the contrast between the old town and the new town tower blocks by the bus station!
Really hoping you get to see Sibiu as it’s also a very stunning town.
    All the best mate.

  12. It’s not great Value at £21.50 Beers should normally be 10Leu which is £1.70 . So 4 should be £6.80 tops .
So £15ish for a meal and desert is just OK . Not good value . In the middle of London in a Wetherspoons a Steak and pint is £12 . Then £3.80-£4 a pint not 400ml .
Or out of London lots of my local restaurants are similar food prices to all edds meals up to now .
I honestly thought Romania was cheap like Thailand. Obviously not .

  13. Great Vlog Edd . Love all your Vlogs but one thing I have noticed over the years . You never seem to research where you accommodation is on Google maps or read trip advisor reviews . But I guess being slightly away from things is ok with you buddy . It does matte on the Thailand islands especially if you don’t have a scooter like yourself.
