Brazil departed Qatar the day after their World Cup quarter-final exit to Croatia on penalties.
The five-time winners were overwhelming favourites to claim a sixth title and after taking the lead in extra-time through Neymar – they were expected to advance to the semi-finals.
But substitute Bruno Petkovic struck with just three minutes remaining and forced the game into a penalty shootout.
Goalkeeper Dominik Livakovic saved Rodrygo’s effort with Marquinhos then hitting the post to complete a stunning turnaround for the 2018 runners-up.

I am proud to say that i was a member of the security personnels in charge of the Brazilian Hotel (Westin Doha Hotel & Spa) camp. And it saddens me the elimination of such great team from the tournament bh better luck next time team Brazil.
