When we started our Philippines Vlog in 2020, we had no idea we would eventually be planning to buy and build a house and home here permanently on Siargao. The island has improved a lot since then and today we talk through our plans and show you what’s new in the home improvement resources department.
Our names are Jmayel, Sacha & Story. We traveled to the Philippines Siargao island and fell in love with island life, now we want to make that life more permanent.

How are you talking about buying property? You’re a foreigner, you can’t own land in the Philippines. Maybe a condo but not land. You better check. I could be wrong but from what I know and what I’ve been told by people who live and have lived there, you’re not a Phillipines citizen.

Oh how nice to have a fresh build house. I like the smell of fresh woods and new cabinets. But what about school for Story. That’s a provincial life that I love very much. Uk school is not available there although Mom is a good teacher for Story. How about building UK or American school there. Many Filipinos want their kids to go to English speaking schools.
Did you know that foreigners are not allowed to own land in the ph?
I am sure Story would like very much what you had bought for her.
Non citizens can't "buy" a home in the philippines.
Story has much more floor space. She will really make use of her desk. The bed came out very well!! 💚
It's gotten to the point where I just expect "click-bait" titles from this channel. That way I'm not disappointed. Story's bed does not look safe. If anything, I would include more braces.

This project is so much fun! Guys, if you can pls support and check out the WISTL FAMILY ADVENTURES they are also a British family recently moved to the Phils for a simple life. Another 2 vlog so good to watch are KOREY & CRUISE and WILL & JOSE TRAVELS vlog. Let’s help them grow their channels. Bamboo wont last long because of termites and bugs locally called bokbok will eat the bamboo. You can treat it with chemicals but not safe. Concrete is the best and metal like galvanized steel or aluminum.
