But if you have a growing child that soon will attend a face to face school (not distance learning), BGC is ok because there is a British School in Makati which is nearby.

Malls have kids department. And you may wanna try going to Osh Kosh Bigosh

Thats why i love philippines.. if you want go city go to BGC. If you want to go beach go siagao or palawan..if you want cold weather visit baguio or bukidnon😁

The biggest problem if living in BGC is that we just could not afford it!!

I did elementary, High school, and College in Manila. I like the city because of the Malls, supermarkets, & places to explore very accessible to amazing schools, more options, and a lot of transportation. But I'm working now and living in the province, I do miss the convenience of the City. But I like the quiet and peaceful life where I am now.

Life in the island is way different from the city and in Siargao you have a few vegan shops and cafes. Your place up north is a little isolated from the busy tourist areas. Being said, it’s good for now but the question is when Story goes to school. There are no International schools in the island nor private schools. The island is good for retirees, holiday and vacationers but for a young family with school age children? It really depends on your preference….based on your previous vlogs, you want her to be educated under the British system. Unless you’re willing to home school her all through her elementary years but that would be sad depriving her the experience of being a school student sitting face to face with other children and the whole of it you can’t provide at home. Her eco school is only good for pre school age kids. It can’t be substituted for a formal school a city like Makati with British school can offer. So, it’s up to your family which is your priority, Story’s preference for school or living an island life without it. Davao has International School too. You can check on it. Davao has city with province vibe. You can stay in the suburb with surrounding nature but not far enough from the city and close to the school. Since Story is still a minor, she’s solely dependent on your decision though with her intelligence and smart personality, she can also give her input. Wonder what she thinks of going to a formal school. How does she feels on the idea of putting her to a proper school room with other kids her age in uniform
