Theo and Bee gave up their busy city lifestyles in 2014 to explore alternative living, and have lived in vans and boats since then without looking back! Along with their cat Ginjey Bear they have been driving around the world in their self converted Sprinter van. However, when the global pandemic hit they began converting their abandoned stone barn in Central Portugal to turn into a wonderful tiny stone cottage. Along the way, they have rescued a playful cat called Furrnando and have a wonderful flock of Chickens!

  1. (Moira Ashton) I don't often comment, but just wanted to say , how beautiful it's beginning to look, really homey, the light gives a lovely warm glow ! And the rug Is gorgeous – the cats are loving it all too, 😍🤩🥰💗💗💗💗xxxx

  2. I very like your taste in home furnishings, and your sense of aesthetics.
    The home looks wonderful.
So looking forward to the kitchen and stair/ladder instal.
Also….Fernando, my little buddy! (I wish).
    Good Vibrations

  3. You are doing so well guys. Love your work.

I suppose you may have considered to have your sladder kind of like the American barn door system, where it can hang off at the mezzanine end, plus unobtrusive wheels (with brakes) at the base. This way you could position your ladder so easily to wherever you please – completely out of the way, to exactly where you want it.

Of course the way you're doing it now will also work (as long as it's not permanently fixed), just with not as much ease, but will probably look much more cohesive the way you're doing it now.

  4. Wall under mezz lacks ' visual height, maybe shelving Closed cabinets along whole wall and pull sofas away a little??
    or artwork.
Shelving / cabinets would give a lot of storage.
Nice doors from Ikea even in Green / Blu. And gold handles to match the set up here?🤗
This guy is such a dedicated worker

  5. I was thinking of pics to put on things to buy from your store. Your house would be cool and your animals especially the cats, your first garden, tracker with Theo and yourself on it, that would be cool. So many. I like what you have now. Thanks 🥰 Love you guys and what your doing alway. You both are too funny most of the time. Thanks for that.👍🤙🤗🇨🇦

  6. You have to cut off the blue strips from the goat´s neck! One of our goats strangled themselves with a similar nackband. A neckband like the others is far better!

  7. Hello Be & Theo we loved your bedside lamp and wondered where you bought it. Our son and daughter in law are planning their wedding and would love to use them 🤔😊

  8. I am so proud of yall and I am waaayyy across the pond in Texas!! Seeing how far you've both come and all the obstacles you have had to overcome is amazing! I admit I thought you were mad when I saw you digging up the stone to level the floor and now its gorgeaous!!!!

  9. I would fix at either end! You want to have chairs for guest, etc…just attach to the right side of the wall. Putting it anywhere in between will break up the space and make your room choppy!!
