Cabo Frio represents all Brazil has to offer 🇧🇷

Let’s take a moment to explain our title here: Our experience over the past 3 months in Brazil has been hard to sum up in one sentence! We’ve done a lot. You might remember Steve’s first attempt in Floripa: ‘Incredible people doing extreme sports in paradise.’ Well, since then we’ve learned more about Brazil’s history and diversity. Also, our time at a Samba school taught us the activities that require talent and dedication are more than just extreme sports!! Samba is intense lol and the dancers are legit. So, our day in Cabi Frio, to us, had it all. History, scenery, a diverse people group being overhwelmingly warm to tourists, and of course, food! We felt like the Brazilian culture was on full display in Cabo Frio.

Anyway thanks for watching!

Only 2 hours away from Rio de Janeiro city, you will find yourself in the beautiful town of Cabo Frio. You can definitely visit on a day trip from Rio de Janeiro city. The old historical district is certainly charming, the beach is lively, and the people is friendly. Check out our vlog in this Brazilian town that has it all.

  1. I visited Brazil last year and fell in love with the country! I am now engaged to a very beautiful Brazilian from Minas Gerais…She took me to Buzios, Cabo Frio and Arrial Do Cabo…The best place she took me was to an island in the state of Bahia called Morro de São Paulo and OMG THE MOST BEAUTIFUL BEACHES I HAVE EVER SEEN😍😍😍😍🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷

  2. There are some tour places in Cabo Frio but most of them just focus on the beach. Sadly, a good portion of brazilian tourist do not care much for historical tours, specially in beach focused cities. Did u guys take the buggy tour in Buzios? I'm curious, that one surely has some historical information (there are english speakers among the drivers) not to mention GREAT views. If you haven't, whenever you come back to this region, it's worth it. Arraial also have a buggy tour with a different vibe, focused on the beaches. If you come back, go check some of the beaches away from the center, they have crazy natural beauty and yes, the sand is like that around this whole region, some of the beaches will have some small dunes of them (Praia Grande in Cabo Frio is the most famous for that)

  3. You're right, Cabo Frio is everything a tourist is looking for in terms of beach. It has a crystal blue sea and white sands with a wide strip of sand where space is never lacking. Despite not being a world famous beach like Copacabana or Ipanema Cabo Frio is much better, quieter and less dangerous than the most famous beaches in Rio de Janeiro. The white sand and crystal blue sea of Cabo Frio is due to the fact that in the city there is no port or mouth of any river, which is what usually causes the cloudy water and grimy and yellowish sand common on many beaches.

  4. I liked this video I’m Carioca , my family live in the Região dos Lagos, I love this place , thank you because I can remember my memories( friends, food, beach… I miss all) currently I live em Connecticut USA, I hope to come back soon😍 The Brazil is amazing!!!

  5. Thanks for sharing your experience.
It was great seeing all my childhood places and hearing how you discriminated every single one so accurately how we feel like with the vibe and everything. Spot on.
    Looking forward to seeing more.
I wish I was in town to meeting you guys.

Answer: Farinha is the right answer
    Cheers guys

  6. I enjoyed the video but must write a comment here: The girl said that they were the only 'Westerners' there (9:15). She is obviously an Asian and did not grow up in Canada because she speaks with an accent. Maybe she meant they were the only foreigners there? In my opinion that would be more appropriate. Keep up the good work!

  9. If you go to Cabo Frio you should visit the dunes and the salinas. Just check before if it is safe to go there. Last time I visit those places was 30 years ago.
(by the way, if you liked the guy singing and playing guitar, check a brazilian famous artist named Djavan).

  10. Beautiful town. But Paraty it's even more rsrs. I just arrive from Bahia and I realized that I leave in the the one of most beautiful places in Brazil!,!!
