Another really enjoyable update. Your dramatic photography really captures the difficulties you are experiencing on this Camino. For your sakes I hope things improve before you get to Santiago. Keep up the great work.

I don't remember problems between Viana do Costello and Vila Praia de Ancora except some confusion on paths close to the ocean and slightly inland criss crossing a bit. I mostly stayed on the ocean side and managed not to get lost although I crossed a small stream over some very dodgy rocks at one point that another pilgrim I spoke too had not experienced so definitely a slight lack of yellow arrows at times. I stopped in Ancora for the night a lovely little town.

This is more what I expected a day long hike to look like.

Yup, wind and rain. Walked up the coast 2019 and got lashed out of it for days. Not until I got to Oia, did the weather change. Then it was heaven….
