Did you go again since?
Good stuff.. thanks for the tips!! Personally I will shed the camera.. too heavy.. also considering a Scrubba washing bag.. the rest is pretty much as per your advice!.. THANKS
Instead of trying to lighten ur load, people should train before going so u can b fit to carry a load
For the sleeping bag I would choose a double size because in summer time the hostel are very full and as a good pilgrim to share your sleeping bag with someone.
Well, those shoes to go to church on Sundays are fine but to do the Camino de Santiago Portugues you need something more flexible and comfortable like the footwear manufactured by the Chiruca company.
good
Thanks for sharing!! Buen Camino! 💪😉
Very helpful! And this book is of great help! https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/0999055135/
Very good video. Thanks !
I’m planning on going mid April and May. I will give myself plenty of time. My question is will it be too cold or rainy during April and beg oh May?
A small pack of wet wipes is a godsend.
Excellent! Big thanks.
Tell us about your backpack choice please. Are you using trekking poles? Thanks
I really like the advice on the shoe. It really depend on weather and personal preference. I did use the Lush bar on my last Camino but it did not fair well. I am look for another 2 IN 1 soap bar.
Good Job Johnroy. How many time did you wash your water bottle? Daily?
Real helpful video, thanks! Quick question, do you usually check your luggage in for the flight to and from Europe? Just thinking the Swiss Army knife might be a problem with security.
great video… I'm going in June 2018… from St.Jean de Port… buen camino
HI
Thanks for this great video I have one question should I take a tent and sleeping mat to save money? or it will be unusefull because the hostels are very cheap
IMHO better to take walking sandals than flip-flops: in case you got very bad blisters, you can shift from walking shoes to walking sandals
A Spiritual Journey with out God in Christ Jesus is just emotion!
I am a New Monastic Friar…I am a evangelical not a Catholic…there is only One Way…Jesus said he was the Way/Hodos the Truth and the life…outside of Jesus all you have is emotion rapped in a religion…Religion can't save you but Jesus can….John 3:3 John 3:16
Is this a Pilgrimage for spiritual reasons or is it a thru hike? Is there bible studies, a long the Way/Hodos? Prayer meets…or is it a hiking drinking party…If you go on a Christian Pilgrimage, but you never do spiritual things like witnessing, passing out gospel tracks and reading your bible, then why not just do a Thru hike of the AT/ PCT…But if you are wanting to get closer to God/Jesus and the Holy Ghost…then by all means…a Christian Pilgrimage could be a great thing…this is the biblical mandate for going on a Pilgrimage…Mark 16:15 Blessings!
You have to bring a Bible…this is a christian Pilgrimage you are going on? Can you tent camp a long the Way?

Good job keeping it simple! Thank you!
Very nice Video and Channel!
Love how small your sleeping bag packed into. Which sleeping bag is that?
dude, take a gopro! lol the 70d is a brick.
I took one of these weather proof walking maps on my list: http://www.caminodownunder.com/shop/camino-de-santiago-30-all-weather-walking-maps/
Wait til you find out how hard a heavier pack is to carry. Most people take a "dump" within the first few days. Start to think of which items in advance. Important: have copies of your documents in another place (give to your walk partner)…so important!a SILK SCARF..great around neck when wet, identifies your pack and believe it or not .wonderful for drying and also dries fast.Hope I didn't impose but we need all advice
You rock!
So did you check your bag since you have a knife?
