💭 Day 11 Thoughts:
Santiago! One of the happiest places on Earth. Joy. Fulfillment. Sadness. A day full of emotions. We took the boat from Vilanova to Padron (27km) and continued by foot to Santiago (28km). The boat ride was peaceful and beautiful—a very calming way to end the spiritual variant. We arrived at Santiago to see familiar faces of pilgrims we’d met along the way. We sat, relaxed, drank, ate, and reminisced about the great journey that we had together. I remember my first Camino…and 30 days felt like 30 weeks. Similarly, these 10 days also felt like 10 weeks. It’s incredible what strong experiences and connections you can have in a matter of 10 days…that’s the Camino for ya. Buen camino!
Bom caminho/buen camino,
David

Nice job. Congratulations.
Thank you for your videos from this beautiful journey and congratulations! I'm leaving to Porto next week to start my own camino and can't be more excited! :))
Finally good things always comes to an end. But so does not-so-good things ya. A mixed emotion is inevitable I would think. Congrats on ur second completed Camino David! Thanks for taking us along in your journey. Are you planning to take us on the next one? 😊
Thanks for sharing, I thoroughly enjoyed your Camino.
Congratulations
You made it safe
I just booked my plane tickets
Can’t wait for mine
Obrigado David pelos maravilhosos vídeos e bonitas palavras.
Thank you David ! I'm planning my camino for September and you gave me so much insights !
Wow, what a journey! Congrats!!! Thanks for taking us along. Your 10 weeks (😉) Porto Camino is unreal. So glad you made it safely to Santiago. I’m sure you have something brewing already for your next adventure. Looking forward to your next video. Anything from Mr. David will be awesome. Buen Camino!!!
Indeed it is a great feeling to live the Camino all along and to get to the Obradoiro Square completing the journey. If possible people should also extend the Camino to Muxia and Finisterre, which are both 0 marks of the Camino. The extension to both places help to extend the excitement that is to reach to Santiago, and reflect what one has lived through the past days and nights. I did the Camino Portugues Central and I want now to do the Camino Primitivo. Wish you all the very best, be happy and enjoy life!
Congratulations for finishing the Camino Portuguese! Looking at the final minutes of your wonderful video, I realised that all those mixed feelings of successfully finished hike, making new friends, sadness of going to separate ways etc – they repeat day after day at that square in Santiago de Compostela with new incoming groups of pilgrimes, or solo hikers. It has been a pleasure to follow your camino, David. Thank you very much 🙂
Great trip n thanks for sharing. It seems it’s another nice experience despite its less classic than your last one💪🏻
