CAN WE KEEP HER? Dog in Need & Creating Outdoor Living Space

In this video, a CUTE STRAY DOG showed up at our farm in PORTUGAL in need of help. SHOULD WE RESCUE THIS ABANDONED PUPPY?

I also create an OUTDOOR LIVING SPACE so we have a comfortable, shaded area to relax in throughout the hot summer days.

If you’ve ever RESCUED A DOG, CAT or ANY ANIMAL, please tell me your story in the comments. I LOVE hearing ANIMAL RESCUE STORIES!

See you in 2 weeks time for my next video where I’ll be giving you a TOUR OF OUR PROPERTY and telling you our RENOVATION PLANS!

If you enjoyed watching, please LIKE THE VIDEO to help my channel grow & SUBSCRIBE TO MY CHANNEL if you’re not already.

Thanks for watching 🙂

  1. Hi Ricky. Would it be possible to number your videos, please? – even though I subscribe; like; and ring the bell, I don’t trust YouTube and don’t want to miss anything!!

  2. What a great video with a perfect outcome! We lived in a house near an apartment building. Some people would move out and not take there cat and therefore, kittens. We learned how to catch them all, get them spayed/neutered and brought them back home. We found some people who would find homes for the kittens once they reached 8 weeks old. We lived in a tiny 1 bedroom home and had 7 cats indoors with many, many mouths to feed outside. We made homes for all the adults who stayed if they weren't adopted.

  3. Both of my dogs are rescued. Both were horribly abused by former owners. Beanie, my daushund was 2 when I got him. Starved and almost beaten to death. He's 19 now. Cooper, my chilualua was beaten and bound up with a truck chain. He was 8 months old when I got him. He's 3 years old now. Both my boy's are fabulous! And doing great!

  4. Really enjoying the channel and Maximum respect for saving the beautiful doggy!👏👏👏 I rescued the most beautiful cat I found half dead in the road on my way home from work one day . She became my best friend and lived with me for the rest of her life. I still miss her terribly she became such a big part of the family.
    Well done again

  5. Great video. Love that you took in that cute little dog and I know she will be a good sister for your other dog. Over a 30 yr period, my husband and I took in 7 homeless cats ( some showed up and a few were given to us by people) – Mama, Tango, Smokie, Lady, Cajun, Ms Kitty and Polly . He passed away 4 yrs ago and our last cat passed away last year. Since then, a young female Beagle mix showed up at my house, scared, homeless, hungry and so I took her in and now she is spoiled rotten and living a great life out in the country. Zoe is an indoor/outdoor dog. She is free to roam, but she stays close to the house. Looking forward to seeing more of your videos.

  6. Very nice, I am so glad you opened your heart and home.
I have taken in 3 abandoned dogs, there is a 4th I feed every night but after a couple of years he is still terrfied of humans. I have taken in at least 10 cats. and help with an independent animal rescuer feed hundreds of abandoned pets at night and TNR. Please spay poppy. 🐕💛

  7. Looking forward to your journey…
Puppy rescue..we took 2 mini schnauzers in our home that had been abandoned by their families..sad..but we were happy and loved them for the rest of their lives..

  8. We have 9 cats at the moment and I think I'm in danger of becoming a crazy cat lady. A stray cat had a litter of kittens in our friends garage and when one of the neighbours came around looking for the kittens to drown them we took the mom and five kittens with us to our house near Pombal. Within days an orphan kitten showed up and snuck into the house and we found her in the morning. We are trying to find homes for 5 of the kittens but will keep the mom as a shop cat and the orphan Orangina will hopefully become a third house cat along with our two rescue cats we brought with us from Canada.

  9. It's odd how rescue dogs come into your life when you need them. Our first rescue we got in 2014. My husband had just passed away and Lucy really helped with dealing with the loss of my husband. The second, we call Mikka, we got just before covid locked us down.We live in Canada and both dogs are from northern communities so they are both husky crosses and living in houses was a new experience for them.
