Canadians love to travel around the world, but recently the dumb government has been illegalizing travel because covid… A stupid reason, it should be the people that gets to decide if they wish to risk their health or not. I've begun taking steps to leave the country, as well. I'm still early on in the process, trying to figure out where to go, but ever since Trudeau showed what a megalomaniac he really is and the complete lack of consequences he's faced for his numerous scandals over the years, I decided there's no point trying to salvage this country. The level of brainwashing going on is shocking and makes me feel like I'm living in the Twilight Zone. Perhaps this country needs to hit rock bottom before it can begin to heal, but I'm not willing to stay to find out where that bottom actually is.
I already work remotely for an American company, and with my last remaining family already settled in the USA, I have nothing worth staying here for.
