  5. Though I tend to view cars as a means of transport and not much more, these were some real beauties. And again while not exactly a huge car buff, my takeaway was this: your cinematic prowess also showed off the urban street-scape which is a passion of mine. Spotless, beautiful and everything just so. Clean sidewalks, Flowers, gardens, benches and lamp posts, rubbish bins, all seemingly well thought out. You haven't shown many videos of urban street-scapes, usually more remote hiking trails, small beach-side hamlets, etc. So, it was nice to see in every respect. Thanks for your efforts!!!

  7. Hi Alan, I love my car (VW gti) so much that I decided to bring it to Madeira. The container arrived in Lisbon couple of day ago and hopefully in another week will be in Madeira. Can you please tell me what is the first step for registering my car here? If you have time you can tell me the second step too😂. Thank you !

  8. Boa tarde. Useful informations , thank you. I used to search on Hertz website some used cars , in order to buy one, but I was afraid that 1000cc hasn't enough power to ride the hills. That car bought by your friend should have around 90hp and he said that was pretty good. I will reconsider that info when I will buy one car. Anyway he doesn't mentioned if the car has a diesel or benzin engine.

  12. Thanks and very informative. Any advice on renting a car at the airport. Something like the Clio looks fine for us. We have been inspired by your channel to visit and were able to add Madeira to the end our Portugal tour and arriving November 4-8, 2022. Thanks.

  19. Interesting model there in Madeira, with many buying from rental agencies. I would think a turbo and automatic would make a good combo with the amount of hills. Still considering bringing my car over like you did. I'll decide once I have details on any modifications needed to pass inspection. If I don't bring mine, it seems finding a relatively new car should not be an issue.
