Glad u visited the homeland, so close to where I grew up. Sintra is delightful, especially in Spring and Summer, where one could spends weeks walking the trails and visiting the little towns all around. On your next visit, please mark these two sights to see, Palácio de Monserrate and Chalet Biester. The Youth Hostel in Sintra is beautifully located and has private rooms. You could get lost in the wonders of Sintra and it's greenery and history. Our king were 🇵🇹 to change and be a monarchy (again) lives in Sintra with his family in a beautiful, yet understated house. He is a wonderful people's person, humble and much loved and respected by our people, Dom Duarte de Bragança ; you might run into him one day.
