Chindo Steals My Camera in MADURA (Jaddih Hill Madura)🇮🇩

Today we’re going on a day trip to Madura. I stayed in Surabaya for over a week and while I was there I met some new friends at my Airbnb. Like always, I seem to meet the right people wherever I go. So we wanted to get out of the city and go see what Madura has to offer. There aren’t a whole lot of things to check out in Madura it seems. One of the top tourist attractions is a huge limestone quarry. So after filling up on some delicious fried duck at Sinjay, we headed to Jaddih Hill Madura. It was an interesting place. Really feels like you’re on a different planet. Unfortunately because of covid the place has kinda gone under a bit and isn’t as clean as it used to be. It’s an active mining site with 100s of trucks in and out of there a day, and the touristy stuff is kind of a sideshow. It definitely has potential, just needs a lot of work. After the mines, we went to Dermaga Rasa for some of Madura’s famous sate.

Thanks for watching!

  1. i think no one will clean up the rock becoming white again, LOL.. i think you should visit "danau kaolin belitung", which has similar history, and has a blue water, not greenie muddy like this..

  2. I think it's actually because the regular / standard sate in Indonesia is actually just sate madura. It's so common that people just call them sate, it became the norm for all Indonesian sate. That's why other sate that's actually different are emphasized like sate taichan and sate padang.

  3. I have a lot friends from Madura, mostly work in cruise ship abroad, they are brave, skillful and friendly though, that's all I know beside of a famous sate and bebek Madura, hopefully I can traveling there someday.. Thank's for a great content as always @MaebashiNick .. Keep em coming
