My parents are from Terceira it’s the Party Island of the Azores, bull running, night clubs and festivals for all ages. Once you arrive you’ll never be the same. The smell is intoxicating and you’ll know what I mean when you walk on the tar mark off the plane. Take a cruise of the other island is a must. Culinary arts are amazing from street food at festivals to sea food restaurants on a cliffs watching fishing boats coming into port. I promise you you will be amazed with the sub Tropical islands. Oh ya swimming in the ocean in October is still possible because of Caribbean current and summer it’s perfect, even thought it’s in the middle of the Atlantic! It’s only a 4:30hr flight from NY.
