CLEANING UP THE MAIN BUILD – Portuguese House Renovation

We are in the middle of renovating our house in an abandoned Portuguese village. Currently we are working on the mini rebuild. In this episode i get a lot of help cleaning out the rubble on the main build. Also the digger was suppose to come today, but as often happens in Portugal, it will probably come ‘Amanha’. On the good news.. my new video editor has arrived, Renato is here! Currently i am instructing him on the video’s. In the next episode we are maybe going to do some digging!

My name is Jasper and i bought a house in a Portuguese ghost town. Together with my dogs Zoey& Akira we show you the rebuild of our house en what it is like living the daily life in Central Portugal.

  1. Lekker bezig vatos! Wordt het niet eens tijd om te investeren in goed gereedschap? Je maakt alles zo vreselijk arbeidsintensief waardoor alles veel te lang duurt. Tenzij je dat natuurlijk leuk vindt!

  2. Jasper, I am so impressed and I’m sure many of your followers have enjoyed the before and after ,thank you to your Volunteers after all the more the merrier ,cheers!🙋‍♀️

  3. Hi Jasper and team. Great load of work done. Portugal time is different from any other time. A big welcome to our video editor, glad your there and were all looking forward to more adventures…..
The extra hands make a difference, enjoy the rest of your day. Thanks for the update.

  4. Jasper, If I was you, I would save the rubble(stone and brick pieces) from knocking down the walls. Wash the dirt off of it and use it as filler when you're building up the walls with cement. So you don't have to use as much cement. Just a thought.
P.s. I like the room you created by knocking down the walls, is that going to be the living room or the kitchen?

  5. Great to see things moving so fast, now it is exciting to see you getting to the place where you will soon be fixing interior stuff and decorating nicely. 😀

  6. Thank God help arrived. To be honest I didn’t really believe that your video editor would finally arrive…😅but he did. Great! Hope the guys will stay for a while, they are good workers.
