Finding a job in the Netherlands: what are the dos and don’t? In this session, Eksteen de Waal talks to Anna Falko. Anna was born and raised in Odesa, Ukraine. She came to the Netherlands in 2012 and had to learn Dutch not only to finish her secondary schooling ( high school) but also to qualify for the tertiary studies she wanted to follow. She studied for her bachelor’s in Business Administration in Rotterdam. This was followed by working extensively in Sales before joining Page Personnel as a recruiter, where she has been ever since. Page Personnel is active in international recruitment, which made Anna ideally suited for this session as she is aware of the job market intricacies in the Netherlands and is also passionate about supporting Ukrainians in finding work within the Netherlands. Having built her own career here, including learning a different language and adjusting to cultural differences, she is the ideal spokesperson for Ukrainians looking to settle and work in the Netherlands.
