Theo and Bee gave up their busy city lifestyles in 2014 to explore alternative living, and have lived in vans and boats since then without looking back! Along with their cat Ginjey Bear they have been driving around the world in their self converted Sprinter van. However, when the global pandemic hit they began converting their abandoned stone barn in Central Portugal to turn into a wonderful tiny stone cottage. Along the way, they have rescued a playful cat called Furrnando and have a wonderful flock of Chickens!

  1. Your home is so beautiful. Ignore all the negative Nellie's. I hope Bee come back soon all refreshed. I suffered when I was younger with PMDD though not officially diagnosed, depresión my entire life and so I can sympathize. Your hard work is paying off wonderfully. God has truly blessed you Theo and Bee.

  2. Hi B Bea, I have struggled alone my entire life only to have the covid shutdown climate make matters worse. Unfortunately, well into my 50's I have discovered the body clock known as Circadian Rhythm Not sure exactly but I reset my clock and have been feeling naturally much much clearer and better thank God! Wishing you the best on your journey in the through '22!

  3. Dear Bree; I feel so tired after a ten hour day of work carrying 100 can ponds of rebar at a time 6 days a week. My mother passsd away in November last year 2021 and I look forward to your presence when your ready. I feel like I went back to work too soon and I look forward to your energy.. Theo is a strong man. As a First Nation of Canada you are in my prayers. I loved the time I was in Portugal and your home reminds me of how my people can be so in tune with the land. I hope the creator has your best intentions and love in mind. Stay strong Bree! Your loyal observer from Canada

  4. Where's the bathroom? Are you putting it on the left of the fridge? there's a little nook you could fit a shower & toilet into? especially if you make the kitchen bend around the Right to give you an U shaped bench to eat at?
Have you considered putting a secondary loft over the Kitchen for Storage & secondary bed space?

  5. Hi Theo you are so amazing you have achieved so much well done 👏 glad you have had some time with your parents look after yourself all the best, look forward to seeing the kitchen installed 😀

  6. For Key Organisation, we have this exact problem! Keyrings! Pop a distinct keyring on each key you have to differentiate and that will help you identify easier. We store on hooks inside a cupboard door for safety 😀

  7. Beautifully done, Theo. The banisters came out stunning – I especially love how you offset it to create some interesting shadows, this is what's called a reveal in woodworking, it's very common for trim and molding.
It's great seeing how proud you are of the entire build, you have all the reason to be!
