Hi Joric, thank you so much for this information! I'm a new subscriber and I'm looking for a new opportunity in Portugal as a Software engineer. Have you any idea about a website that can help me to find a job as foreign?
Thanks!

Hello…what about transportation, insurance and taxes? Is social security taxable in portugal?
Thank you for this information. What would be the cost of buying a 2-3 bedroom apartment?
Thanks for the info. I would guess for most of us we’e need to maybe add $50 for mo. public transport card (in Lisbon if no need for car) & $50 for healthcare? Travel & entertainment?
Thank you for lots of useful information as we’re planning to move to Lisbon by the end of the year….
So you bought your apartment? I thought that’s what you said but I just want to make sure. Because I believe you said the $760 was your mortgage. Please let me know when u can thanks. Great info! 🙂
Hi Joric, I am your new subscriber and I would like to know the process in finding a long-term apartment rental. Is it true that the only way is to go to a realty company? Thank you in advance for any information you can provide.
Very helpful video! Just to be sure, is FOOD/ DINE OUT for 2 people ?
hi everyone!!! if you want to live in the cheapest country in the world with very well developed infrastructure you should live in DPR (Donetsk People Republic). I live here currently. It's extremely hard to believe but for 100$ (one hundred US dollars) per month you can rent all including two bedroom apartment. for 10 thou you could buy it. For additional 30$ per month you could pay THE WHOLE bills including 4g mobile internet heating water, you name it.
👍 thanks so much for not making a hr long video talking about yourself most of the time!!
I think Canada is one the most expensive places to live. Here in Toronto, my maintenance fees for my two bedroom townhouse condo is 700.00 per month. That’s over $8,000. per year. I pay separately for heating, air conditioning, electricity, property taxes. Basic cable, internet & phone is $180.00. The double jeopardy is that $1.00 Canadian is around €0.54 on a good day😩
I have been dreaming of moving to Portugal since I traveled there in 2019, and fell in love with the beauty of the place, people and the warmer weather climate.
