Glenn Rycroft pulled con after con in the UK, resulting in him shaving off all his hair and passing himself off as a cancer sufferer and fooling everybody he came across into believing him and parting with money for “treatment.” Hildebrandt then headed for the USA and carried on his activities, obtaining new”identities.” But his reign came to an end when a diligent Florida patrol officer did substantial research into the background of a suspect, and discovered he was wanted in the UK.

world's worst serial killer
https://youtu.be/wBRWZFX58DQ
As someone who is recovering from cancer, I despise vermin like him who use this devastating illness to scam and deceive people all for his own selfishness and greed. He's disgusting.
my husband tried to claim he had cancer when I tried to leave him once… narcs often claim this. LOL
The word despicable gets used lot but this truly is absolutely fucking despicable
“And then in a beautiful display of God-tier cosmic irony, Raycroft did in fact get cancer after lying to friends and family about getting diagnosed year prior as a smoke screen to his other schemes. He died an a agonizing and lonely death because he cried wolf one times, believing he was just pulling another scam. He died two weeks after his diagnosis due to his brain becoming just one giant tumor from the inside out.”
Is how I wish this video would end
Some kind of a sociopath. He wasn't empathetic at all, otherwise he never had done as he did, to fool friends and family.
If he'd had an OUNCE of self control and brains, he could have used the money donated for cancer to pay off the original scam, and no one would have ever known.
What's with the porn style music when the half button red shirt guy speaks🤣🤣
All I can say to those who fall or have fallen as a victim of a con/scam, they shouldn't feel ashamed or embarrassed for believing good about people and wanting to help. Those are beautiful features when it's real victims or people with illnesses etc.that need help. Just be more careful but don't beat yourself up for it. I know there are some who think if a person falls to scam, they deserve the consequences for being foolish. I disagree because no one is safe from scam, not even those who know a lot about the subject. I know a lot but in certain circumstances someone could fool me. It is not the typical ones but a bit more complex and time consuming one but I know I could fall, so I try to keep updated about those types of scams and be very careful who I share my creations with.
What one doesn't know, one can't know before finding out. And even if one knows a lot, one can fool oneself if one is in a vulnerable place in life and has a need for fantasy about something better. Then it is easier to put the blinders on. But the shame for those actions is only and only of the scammer's/con person's. They are the ones doing wrong. I hope this guy learned his lesson, but if he is a psychopath, I highly doubt he learned for any other reason than doing a "better" scam next time.
And I am very disgusted for him using brain tumor because my aunt died because of it after several operations, which of each took a piece of her brain functions like speech and memory. It was very disheartening to see her slowly vanish until eventually she had to stay in a hospital bed and the doctors decided that another operation would not help but just make it worse so they decided to let her have her last days just heavily medicated and as comfortable as possible. She was a Christmas person, she was like a sun during Christmas time always smiling and her sense of humor was just cracking me up. So she died a day before Christmas eve, my cousin said that as a Christmas person she didn't want to have a hospital Christmas and so she left (this is an example of the family humor, my cousin is a lot like my aunt was.).
But yes I know how difficult it is to hear a close person is going to die, you feel helpless and want so badly to help that do almost anything if it would help. Then hearing the person has been stomping on top of your good will this way taking advantage of you, it is disgusting.
I thought you had to be good looking to be an airline steward
If he had so much money wouldn't he fix his teeth
How does an idea like this even form into someone's head? I mean are you just sitting around the house drinking beer jerkin it when BAM!💡 Im guna tell everyone i have cancer and they will feel bad for me=💰
He does t have cancer he is cancer
He's the type that makes others callous toward people who really do have a serious illness in need of financial resources.
I just can't believe that he fooled all those people. He was one of them, and knew that they were gullible.
23% return sounds pretty good right now!
This happens all the time! Gypsy Rose Blanchard
Oh, come on! A 23% return. You would definitely have to be a complete idiot to fall for that. First thing you need to learn is that no one gives away money for free. As the con expert said – they’re mislead by their own greed. It’s hard to feel bad for people who are so gullible.
Actually using cancer as a con isn’t that unusual. These people don’t plan very well. Eventually it’s going to be obvious he isn’t ill. Then what does he do?
Really he swindled all this money and still never got his teeth fixed geez priorities
While its disgusting this guy ended up abusing trust by faking cancer and his ponzi scheme, the investments were driven by greed. A 23% return on investment is ridiculous, a huge red flag of a con and the first sign that you should run but this was out and out greed on the part of "investors".
As a cancer survivor, I've thought that I'd never wish it on anyone…until now.
The saddest part is that he didn't have brain cancer and die.
You can tell who this guy really is and that none of that money was his because he never thought to fix his freaking teeth
