HEADLINE: Diamond Bar: Three Acre Brush Fire Theatens Nearby Homes, Multiple Water Drops
CAPTION: A brush fire has been held to three acres and no property loss has been reported after an intense firefight Sunday afternoon. LA County FD personnel alongside OC resources responded to the area regarding reports of brush on fire. The first engine located a small spot that exponentially grew in flashy/heavy brush to 3 acres. Multiple helicopters from LACOFD and OCFA fought from the air as hand crews and firefighters fought by ground, with the fire quickly bumping up to a second alarm fire. As of 2:45 PM, most of the blaze has been contained and firefighters are working to mop up hot spots that remain. Burn scarred ground could be seen close to the property at 20978 Canyon Ridge Drive.
