Oh gosh. All the emotions watching this vlog this early Monday morning.
You may remember I left you a comment a few months back mentioning I’d lost my beautiful mum very suddenly & unexpectedly on her birthday back in z January, it was on one of your trial camping videos & you filmed the most beautiful sunset,& it just reminded me of mum.
I lost my brother, aged 44, on Oct 22nd. We haven’t heard back from the coroner yet but his funeral is tomorrow (coroners can take a few months after a post mortem to conclude their findings), but it’s looking like natural causes – heart attack, as heart problems run in my fathers side.
You couldn’t make this up.. could you?
My comment wasn’t meant to be doom & gloom, it’s to tell you what beautiful human beings I think you & your husband are. There’s something just so cathartic about watching you both.
Please, please don’t take this the wrong way Candy… but you’re both going to make the most beautiful parents one day, whatever shape & form that may be in. I see the same pain & ache in your eyes as I used to see in mine, but don’t ever stop believing.
Thank you for sharing a snippet of your lives with us. I look forward to your uploads each week even if I don’t always comment, they’re a much needed distraction from my sad thoughts at the moment.

I have an IKEA cheese grater, it is attached to a Tupperware, like the lid and had different lids/graters, plus a lid, so you can leave leftover grated cheese in it and pop it in the fridge. Used to have one of those turning ones, but you have to cut the cheese into small chunks to put it in. But they work well. 😊

Morning Candy- I have also been on a bread making kick- so good! I made a loaf this weekend and added 3TBSP brown sugar, 2 tsp cinnamon and 3/4 cup raisins to make a cinnamon raisin loaf and it was so yummy! Have a great week ❤

Good morning Candy. We clearly have the same recommendations. I've been watching Our Tribe of Many for a few months and really enjoy them. I just started watching Little Mountain Ranch and really enjoy watching Chelsea cook on her wood burning stove. And what to say about Becky!? Last night I watched her making candles and had a couple good laughs. I so her appreciate her willingness to be so real with us.
I too was skeptical about the hand mold but it turned out really nice. Can't wait to see the clothing "hauls". Best wishes to your Mom, I know how she feels. I never know one day to the next how I will feel and have to cancel plans occasionally too. Hope your week is pleasant and full of good things.

Another triumph with the bread making.
I’m making the banana bread today, only I’m using chopped walnuts inside the batter.
It’s a favourite in our house, gorgeous with a drizzle of golden syrup while it’s still warm.
Ahhh your hand cast looks soo good, such a brilliant idea and a great gift.

Aw morning Candy so glad Giz got on ok at the vets I remember taking Splodgie especially earlier in the year when he was poorly for all his medication when he was younger he always caused chaos he often had to run around the vet room floor until he was calm enough to be picked up weighed and have his vaccine then after he'd come home he'd band his feet off into a corner to hide I think he assumed we'd be taking him back there already not just once a year when he was poorly he was so good let me pop him straight on the vet table no hassle poor him and after he just wanted cuddles then too especially at home the final six weeks we had with him he wanted so much fuss and attention it's still so strange without him especially as Christmas comes we've made some of those baubles you can get and pop photos in and his carrot decoration and lights will still go up on his tree outside can't not do it 💖🐇💖 hope you all have a lovely weekend 😊

Made my Sunday again. tip for vermicelli – if you fry it in hot oil it will puff up then tip into bowl and sprinkle with aromat or whatever seasoning you like and enjoy the snack, its bloomin lush and make loads 🙂 god bless and much love xxxxxxxxx
