Hi guys, I am Alex.

I am an Ukrainian expat who moved to Portugal.
No one in my family ever did any farming, But I discovered that I am very passionate about farming so recently I’ve purchased this 28 hectares Farm in Central Portugal, with the intention to start a small scale farm raising worms, cattle and sheep.

In this little farm I am also planning to build an off grid home, and be as self sufficient as possible, by growing my own food.

I created this channel to share my journey with the world, The journey of a first generation farmer, that is starting with no prior knowledge and experiences.
That maybe all the mistakes that I will make along this journey, and all the fails maybe will help some of you to learn from my mistake and not make them yourself.
I want to bring value and inspire people who are thinking about farming.

I am not a filmmaker or an editor, I am just a simple guy with a camera.

  1. I just wanted to say, Your lonely sheep urgently needs some partners…when these 2 sheep arrived on Your land….so sorry for Your sheep, that You gave them back…
but it makes You much more honorable, You gave them back to their owner!

  2. You have the "most" helpful sheep when he is not running around having fun. Either he is supervising work inside or actively engages in helping move brush outside. What a blessing he is. And I like him very much anyway.
He also helps you eat your lunch. What a great sheep.
The sheep really makes the videos

  3. I See a lot of shoots at the base of the olive trees. its best to cut them away from the base of the trees as they are taking away goodness for the trees. and the Olive trees will benefit better if the suckers are removed. it will not harm the trees and the trees will produce better Olives. any shoot on any Fruit trees you have will be better off with them being cut away they are only taking away energy from the trees. i always keep my trees free from side shoots

  4. Oh My Gosh! A Sheep with the Zoomies! 🐑 💨👍🏻🇨🇦 And Fabulous Clearing Job!!! Interested to know along with everyone else what the large white building with the Balconies and Patio is? The original House?

  5. It is wonderful to see your sheep running like she did, great job at clearing the back of your home, it's lovely and Angelica has to be in the middle of you and your father not missing a thing that you both have too do. Good luck with everything you both attempt to do.

  6. The yellow tractor saved so many days of cutting the blackberry bushes. Great idea to use it this way.
I love the way Angela plays.. such a puppy❤️🌸❤️
I’m looking forward to the time when you burn all of the rubbish. It will make a great winter video🤣
    Cheers from Australia 🇦🇺❤️
