We are in the middle of renovating our house in an abandoned Portuguese village. Today we finish the window frame, dig out the septic tank and handle a very annoying doorframe 😉 Stay tuned for more building content and why not hit the notification bell so you don’t miss it 😉 thanks for watching!

My name is Jasper and i bought a house in a Portuguese ghost town. Together with my dogs Zoey & Akira we show you the rebuild of our house and what it is like living the daily life in Central Portugal.

  1. Especially in hot weather always it is a good idea to spray water onto the curing cement from time to time so it does not dry too fast and crack. Cement needs to cure rather than dry and if it can be slowed down in the first 12-24 hours it is far less likely to crack.

  2. I am surprised u haven’t got a cement mixer Jasper it makes mixing concrete a lot easier but well done good shuttering . U are both very brown best regards Andy from Felixstowe.
