I'm stuck in America. I would return home to NZ yesterday, but NZ has become soooooo expensive, that we can't aford to buy a home there, even though we have a house and 25 acres here.
Thanks guys. Wonderful podcast.
Tim good luck buddy you will give your children a wonderful gift.
Bri your a real kiwi "black singlet"
love it.
Safe trip HOME
Fantastic video 🙂 thanks very much for sharing. We are looking into relocating from the UK. We are from South Africa originally but have lived in the UK for 8 years. We are really confused about the weather. Some sites say its just as grey and rainy as the UK and some say its alot sunnier! Any clarification would be appreciated 🙂
Best line: " just turn up" 🤣🤣🤣
Best ever!!! You should catch up when hes gets back for a cuppa 😊
Oh no PLEASE talk about New Zealand , I'm always fascinated by how NZers are seen by other people, I think its important and relevant!
Great interview. It's always interesting to see what makes people move here from other countries or move back here to live.
Hope you're both having a great time on your travels.
Hi both, a lovely podcast, just love the positivity 😀, and Tim, have a good flight into NZ on the 28 Aug and hit the ground running on Sept 1 in CC. Looking forward to the next vlog or podcast, have a great week ahead!

We are shipping are pick up truck back to newplyouth next month

Wonder what you are going to think about Te Reo. I'm Maori and thought I was in a different country when I got back 4 years ago after living in UK 20 years.
The reason $ sounds so strange strange is bcuz our accent isn't American
Hllo mam …I plan to pursue MAT from New Zealand .Plz guide whether this course guarantees job security there in NZ for overseas students?
I am English but moved to NZ over 40 years ago. About 14 years ago I encouraged my NZ born children to go do their OE to England. They are still in the UK. Both live in London and have got to the point where they feel all their friends have moved on and they would find it hard to come back to NZ, especially as neither of them are outdoor people.
Another great interview, fun and interesting!
Bloody good interview.
Great podcast,I agree with Tim on everything, including fish and chips being better in NZ!! His experience mirrors my own going from NZ to the UK although it's unlikely I'll ever go back home.
Kids were up last weekend (18 and 14) had a bonfire and they loved it as usual. Fire and marshmallows, job done
I agree, Fish and Chips are better in New Zealand, especially compared to London. Pretty good in places like Deal and Grimsby/Cleethorpes mind. I miss bird calls and the bush in NZ Most of all it's where my best friends are. I also agree, New Zealand has changed a bit since I left, and I've only been away 7 years, but when you watch the NZ news, etc, you realise it has changed a bit, especially with the increased use of Te Reo Maori
Really well done podcast. You guys are awesome…love to talk with you when your back in Aotearoa. I may be able to help with those who are settling in to Aotearoa life and having some struggles. Just a thought! Stay safe and God bless you both.
Thanks L&B…… I'll be sharing this vlog with my kids.
Wish me luck!
My daughter has 3yrs of school left. I wish we hadn't promised her she could finish school here. I thought i would go back after Christmas this year but I'm not sure I can live without them for 2.5yrs so I am probably going to have to postpone until Jan '24. At least thats only 1.5yrs without them while I get things rolling in NZ.
I wish it was tomorrow 😢
If the child is born New Zealand they inherit the status of their parents.
So if you children become NZ citizens, the children born in New Zealand will be NZ citizens
Good Evening Liz and Bri 🍷🍾 just in time for the evening here in kiwiland.. i caught another one quick lol
I would move back home in a heartbeat. The lifestyle and friendly people are not something that I have come across after 40 years in Australia. I miss the greenery and just everything. I realise that things change but it's home.
