WOW what a production..This was very cool indeed thanks Tamara for recommending this.. They are a great band
Your vídeo themes are so much more creative than what I you to watch in YouTube by the people who live Abroad.
The changing of the guard ceremony at the presidential palace (one of the former royal palaces in Lisbon) is a copy of the ceremony that took place during the monarchy.
The protocol of state has changed little, as can be seen in the hoisting of the presidential flag whenever the president is in the palace, exactly as was done with the standard of the royal family. (The green presidential flag can be seen on the palace, indicating that the president was in the palace)
Even the "hand-kissing" ceremony still takes place today, namely in the throne room of the Ajuda Palace, and is now called the greeting ceremony, or official reception.
Similarly to the old royal banquets, banquets are still offered to the heads of state visiting Portugal, in the grand dining room at Ajuda palace.
Hello from CA! Great work with the vlog. Hope to bump into you both in November.
Hello I love your videos, I just got here a few days ago, can you recommend some cool shopping places outside of the main tourist area.
What a great idea! Thank you for taking the time to share this cool ceremony!
This was super cool! Great that your feet could handle all that standing. My feet are sad.
I just love a good marching band. But when they started playing the iconic John Phillip Sousa march Stars and Stripes Forever it brought tears to my eyes. And, of course, Anchors Aweigh .. my father was also in the Navy!! Thank you Kirsten!!
Cool ceremony 🤩
Wow! What a ceremony! That was fun to watch!!❤
Thx alot
Hey Kirsten…I am so happy you made it on such short notice and that you enjoyed it!!! 😃
Thank you for sharing this wonderful ceremony! It was like being there watching with you! Such fun!
Very Nice.😍😍 They sound really good.📯📯📯. I only pray they have enough people helping at the various fires.
You move about constantly. How do you handle COVID ? The BA.5 variant is surging in Portugal like it is in the US. I noticed your wearing a mask on the bus which I find really positive. Was it only you who chose to wear a mask? I can’t get over how many Americans we’ve lost to the pandemic in the USA
