I love public transportation and Lisbon Portugal has some of the best. Many of the metro stations display beautiful tile work, and a few of the stations are works of art themselves.

  1. One the most beautiful stations in the World is Olaias. But was made by the most famous Portuguese architect. He have works around the world, but people hate him because he film and made sex with students to give good grades at university where he was one the most prestigious professor. The university expelled him due to a disciplinary process. But he end to teach in another prestigious university a few years later. All the students are major of age and he made sex always in his house where he film the enconter.

  2. Portuguese tiles are very beautiful and to find them in Metro stations is such a treat to the eye. There are some with sayings in Portuguese which might help in language acquisition.

  3. Just wanted to say, love your videos and thanks for your quick reply about malls and I went, but it was alot to maneuver for me. Reminded me of the malls in Bangkok. I would love move here one day and would love to meet up wuth you and discuss how you guys did it. I am here for a few more days!🤷🏿‍♀️

  4. After riding on NYC subways and San Francisco BART how refreshing to see well lit, clean, beautiful stations. I am so looking forward to our visit to Portugal this fall. Thank you for sharing.

  5. Hi Kirsten, the stations look wonderful. I was in Lisbon in 2019 and rode the system. While clean and efficient, I noticed that the stations were not accessible which is a drawback if you are handicapped. I live in NYC and although some of our stations aren’t as nice as Lisbon’s (we are trying), they by and large are handicapped accessible.

  6. Hi Kirsten, I also like Campo Pequeno station, yellow line. I remember that a long time ago metro stations in Lisbon were very dark and cement color, very awful 😁. Nice video. Keep going with Portuguese as you have a wonderful accent 👌😀 Beijinhos
