This video is why I have a channel. Often, Portugal does something than what the EU recommends, and with travel, Portugal changes its mind more often than any other country in Europe. I want people to be informed and as up-to-date as possible on travel do’s and don’ts.

I work for one of the Large airlines in the US and as of today as I write this, if you are going to Portugal you will need a 72 hour PCR test to enter from the US no matter if you have be vaccinated.
Spain, France and some other EU Countries you do not have to test.
No matter where you go you will need a 24 hour test to get back in the US and that means finding legit testing place. I welcome any new updates that you have heard on Portugal.
Can you explain what the digital passes. Also how do you get it. Thanks Lori
Thanks for your video. Could You pls tell me- if I’m not vaccinated- will I be able to enter Portugal?
Do you know if they are currently maintaining the requirement to test while in Portugal every 72 hours for hotel stays as well?
Screw the digital pass, we all know its endemic now we don't need a health passport.
Thanks so much for posting! Are there mask mandates in general though? I'm curious how "safe" it feels just to go around. I've subscribed!
You are doing a great job. Everything is about the MONEY.
I think Portugal is smart to be cautious. There’s another variant, and it’s better to keep things as they are for a bit longer, rather than to flip flop too much. Not every European country has lower numbers. Germany and Denmark have been growing. Denmark is great with testing and they see the new variant increasing. Fortunately, it’s another omicron.
Have fun on the island.🙂
Call me weird, but I actually like Portugal being as strict as or stricter than rest of EU on Covid.
Thanks so much for posting. Think I will postpone my scouting trip until they relax testing. Looking forward to your next video.
Thank you SO much for this info! On a separate topic, I plan to be in Lisbon twice this year and was considering an Airbnb in Estrella. Are there gyms in that area? Also, during my last stay in Lisbon (Dec 2021), UberEats was super accessible because I was in Saldanha. Is UberEats popular in the Estrella area?
However, if you drive to Spain, are they going to ask you to be tested to get back in?
