Semi-Final 1 of Eurovision 2022 takes place on May 10. Seventeen acts will compete for ten spots in the grand final. Who will qualify? We make our predictions.

  3. Guys I'm Portuguese and I can assure 100000% you that even us thought that Festival da Canção was wayyy to lonngggg!!
    RTP likes to do a thing that we here call "encher chouriços" which basically means running things in much more time than necessary. That's the main issue that the viewers keep telling them to change, but they refuse because they like to put on a show to remember the good old days.(I mean they can still do that, but they need to adapt to the modern days).
    Devon <3 she's my number #1 too. I'm bias but the song is in fact AMAZING <3

  7. I am struggling with Ukraine. Should they even compete, considering part of country suffering and country is literally being pulled apart. I do not think win (if they win) would be for the reason Eurovision is created to begin with.

  10. Qulifiers in performing order in my oppinion based on:

    how interesting song is (Lithuania 😍)
    how reletable the lirycs are to majority of voters (Croatia, Greece, Netherlands)
    how memorable it is (Norway)
    vocal performance (Albania, Greece, Lithuania)
    quality of production (all of named)
    can it work on huge stage (all of named)
    is it just pure quality fun (Latvia, Austria, Norway)
    is it emotional but not snooze fest or cringe (Croatia, Iceland, Lithuania)

  13. The moment Croatia decided to send Guilty Pleasure was the nail in the coffin for qualification chances. Moli Za Nas was clearly the way to go. Oh well. No big deal since Croatia's used to being a non qualifier.

  14. To be honest I'm scared that people will vote more for ukrain out of sympathy. I feel for them but let's not make it about politics. It wouldn't be fair if they won, there are better entrees.

  15. I think The Netherlands, Albania, Ukraine, Greece, Norway, Portugal, Lithuania and Austria will qualify and 3 of Latvia, Slovenia and Moldova will. Armenia and Switzerland miss out

    Austria
    Denmark

    But this probably won’t happen 😅
