  5. Love your videos! 😍 My gf and I are moving to the DR from Canada this year and we're wondering: did you just go without a long term Visa and pay the overstay fees on your 30 day visa? Also have you had any troubles leaving and re-entering the country? 😯

  10. You can rent cars everywhere here. The local car rental agencies only ask for your passport and how long you need car for. Most times they will keep your passport until you return the car. I come here 5 times a year and noone has EVER asked to see my drivers license.

  13. I just want say I'm amazed to see you guys talking about DR you know more from my Country than I do, I did laugh a lot listening this video. My recommendations You must go to bahia de las aguilas, and also try the South part of the Country; Barahona, San Juan, Pedernales; they have amazing beaches as well. But over all, I give you a 10+ muy bueno, gracias por estar aqui. Disfrutenlo

  21. I don't know why they're lying like that, at certain point, They can't walk in the street with cellphone handy or stop by the side walk and talk in their phone… Just an example.
    Even in their car with window down, you can get your phone stolen.

  23. Very safe. As any other place. Just follow common sense.
    But I did have a incident at the airport, they tried to give me a fake bill. I knew the moment she handed it to me and asked her right away to give me a new one. With out a hassle she knew what she was doing. Just be aware of common scams.

  27. Thank you for your words of encouragement. No matter what I’m facing in my life I won’t let go of Jesus! I keep crying out asking for prayers because, I know our prayers are stronger together so please pray for me. I’m struggling to provide for my two autistic children since losing my job over not getting the vaccine. I have pre existing health condition (Lupus) and Heart disease. I’m on a bunch of medications including blood thinners. My husband passed away three years ago, so I’m all alone. Both of my sons are non verbal so things are more difficult for me. I don’t know how we are going to make it through. This month we are facing homelessness. Every month is a struggle. We have nowhere to go. I’m so embarrassed of my situation. I’ve been put down and mocked over my circumstances. It’s hard to hold my head up, I’m not going to lie. BUT NO MATTER WHAT. I have Faith that God will provide! Faith over Fear! I believe.

Hi, you guys should try Brazil! it's a great country, has more to offer than DR and it's cheaper…I spend few months in Puerto Plata and I found very expensive living…locals there don't understand currency there is no dollar but pesos but it feels like you are in America bc Dominicans will try to get as much money from you….very nice place but expensive.

  31. I live in Canada, and my worst experiences so far have been in this country. I was sexually molested, I was robbed and my hair was glued here. I lived in the DR and none of these things happened to me. So, yes you are right, bad things can happen to you every where!!!!
