I love James and his thoughts for the week 🥰
Aloha from Hawaii. I absolutely love Gilda and all the information she shares.
Heads up! We’re coming your way. My husband and I just booked a flight to Portugal and will be enjoying your beautiful country in October! Maybe we will find you all at one of the Expat gathering. Hope it’s near a bakery. 😉
I think I know what Gilda was going to say about IMP. Late last week, it was announced that they are expanding the list of countries where new immigrants can use their driver's license until it expires rather than having to request one within 90 days. They are adding the countries in the Organization of Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) and the Community of Portuguese Speaking Countries (CPLP). This means that residents of the following countries can now drive in Portugal until their license expires or two years from establishing residency if the license doesn't expire;
🇪🇺 All countries in the European Union
🇦🇴 Angola
🇦🇺 Australia
🇧🇷 Brazil
🇨🇻 Cabo Verde
🇨🇦 Canada
🇨🇱 Chile
🇨🇷 Costa Rica
🇨🇴 Colombia
🇬🇶 Equatorial Guinea
🇬🇼 Guinea-Bissau
🇮🇸 Iceland
🇮🇱 Israel
🇯🇵 Japan
🇰🇷 South Korea
🇱🇮 Liechtenstein
🇲🇽 Mexico
🇲🇿 Mozambique
🇳🇿 New Zealand
🇳🇴 Norway
🇸🇹 Sao Tome and Principe
🇨🇭 Switzerland
🇹🇱 Timor-Leste
🇹🇷 Turkey
🇬🇧 United Kingdom
🇺🇲 United States of America
I believe Gilda was waiting until this was published in the Diaria de Noticias before she discussed it.
