Thanks to Gilda for the updates and Carl for following up on our questions. We know August is tough to get anything done here. Hopefully SEF does not reschedule our appointments. Sorry to hear about the D7 delays at some of the consulates.
How can I stay in Portugal 6 months this winter? I want to buy a fairly cheap place 10mi back at the beach in Algarve maybe but I've got to keep my capital gains free on my house so I got to be in Canada over 6 months of the year I think plus I want to hold on to my medical for a year or two. The place is getting redeveloped in a year or two and then I want to make a full-time shift to Portugal but in the meantime how do I stay there for more than 90 days and I want medical there too cuz I'm old. Might sound wacky but that's what I need can you help? ⁉️
Glad to hear that a British person had the back bone to sue SEF for their NO CUSTOMER SERVICE. Even with the European holiday in august, the country still needs to handle business just like a hospital cannot give all nurses/doctors/admins off in august. That makes no sense especially that they are slower than molasses during the rest of the year from hearing all of the stories.
