  1. I have a question regarding the D7 visa. I work as a freelancer, working generally from home. However I do have to attend construction site to carry our surveys, meetings etc. Is there unlimited access into the Schengen area with thr D7?

    Thanks

  2. Very informative however, I wanted to clarify one thing I heard. If the Portuguese consulate (in Washington D.C.) approves our D7 visa, it WILL include a SEF appointment (day/time), hopefully close to our new rental address. Is that correct? Muito obrigado.

  3. ? regarding D7 visa residency requirement. 6 months continuous or 8 months non-continuous. If I was on the D7 visa, planning to spend six months in Portugal, but went to Spain (or another EU country) for two weeks, would that trip invalidiate the six months continuous, thus requiring me to spend a minimum of eight months?

  4. Anyone have experience with VFS Global for the Washington D.C. consulate? I am having difficulty getting any response to my request to mail in my D7 application. Application is all ready to go with no way to mail it in.
