After 67 Years We made it to London and to Kew Gardens. We found paradise and insurmountable issues along the way. So we will just have to go back and spend another day or two in the gardens. We are from the USA and now live in Portugal. Let’s go. It’ll Be fun!

After discovering the glass house was closed, I'm picturing Alan rushing off to the nearest sporting goods store to get an Airsoft pistol and returning to 'convince' the guards to show you the house. "My family and I travelled over 1500 miles to see the world's greatest glass house. The sign says you're closed. I say you're open."🤣🤣🤣

Bummer about the glass house, but the gardens looked great. If your travels ever take you to Cape Town, a must see are the Kirstenbosch National Botanical Gardens. Beautiful gardens with Table Mountain as a backdrop.
The glass house was closed but we decided not to let it ruin our day… so Leslie broke in.
Very gracefull acceptance, Leslie and Alan! I would have certainly complained more, but on the bright side, you can plan visiting the garden in spring and see it in a different phase.
