Temperatures are soaring across Western Europe, with the UK, Spain, and France seeing temperatures above 100 degrees Fahrenheit.

An extreme heat wave that meteorologists call an “apocalypse” broiled much of Europe and the United Kingdom on Monday, and hundreds of people died because of record high temperatures and ferocious wildfires. At least 748 heat-related deaths have been reported in the heat wave in Spain and neighboring Portugal, where temperatures reached 117 degrees this month.
The heat poses a serious health risk, as people will need to take precautions to avoid heat-related illness. In Britain, few homes, apartments, schools or small businesses have air conditioning, making residents particularly vulnerable.

These emissions affect radiation, clouds, and climate on regional and even global scales. So it seems that all the wildfires around the globe are exacerbating the situation. Looking at the track record of human governments with regard to solving even the most basic human problems, the future looks very bleak indeed. To reverse climate change is definitely beyond their ability. It has already gone past the point of no return as far as they are concerned. Thankfully, our future is not in their hands. God created the earth for a purpose and he will not allow greedy, selfish and corrupt people to completely ruin the earth for those who want to live in peace and harmony with others. At Psalm 37:10, 11, 29 he says: “Just a little while longer and the wicked will be no more; you will look at where they were, and they will not be there. But the meek will possess the earth, and they will find exquisite delight in the abundance of peace. The righteous will possess the earth, and they will live forever on it”. God has both the power and the desire to make the necessary changes on the earth to fulfill his purpose and he is going to act very soon.
