we are nick and constance, we are an anglo-german family and and we live here in the south of portugal on the algarve coast with our three boys, two dogs and two cats.
we bought a 6000m2 peice of rustic land on a north-east facing mountain side in 2020 and weve been building our own off gird homestead, including a 130m2 earth bag home, a garden and a fruit orchard …it is out goal to build a sustainable and eco friendly homestead, growing food and living in a more symbiotic, gentle way with nature and our land here, which will hopefully be a home for both our family and the generations to come.

Just started watching a couple episodes. I gotta ask, is the motto "We don't need no stinking permits" ? If you are building "legal" I know we'd love to hear more about that part of it, i.e. inspections, code issues, etc.

You guy's are genius, 3 minutes into the video and I learned how to fold a earth filled bag for free. Other channels recommended stapling ends, zip ties and stitching bag ends..
